Darrell Lerner - Sports

Darrell Craig Lerner is a big sports fan. He particularly loves basketball, baseball, and horse racing. Darrell used to be a big Knick fan until the Isiah Thomas era began and he thoroughly destroyed the team's salary cap flexibility for the remainder of the decade and traded away their lottery picks in a desperate stab at mediocrity.

Darrell is a big baseball fan as well. Darrell Lerner loves the Mets. Rooting for the Yankess is like rooting for the house in blackjack!

Darrell is also a big horse racing fan. When he was younger, Darrell wrote Triple Crown and Breeders' Cup analysis for the New York Post and USA Today and appeared on Sportschannel. Darrell Lerner has also won or placed in several major handicapping contests throughout the US and was a qualifier for the National Handicapping Championship in Vegas.
